Trading rules

These are the rules every Funded Joe account follows. The exact numbers for each challenge are in the table at the bottom of this page and in your dashboard.

Draft. The definitions below match how PanBO evaluates accounts. Review the final wording with compliance before launch.

Profit target

The profit you need to make in a phase, as a percentage of the starting balance. Closed and open profit both count, but you must close all positions for the phase to pass.

Daily loss limit

The most your equity can fall below the day’s starting level, as a percentage of the starting balance. The day resets at 00:00 server time. Going past it ends the challenge, even if the loss is only on open positions.

Maximum loss

Static: your equity can never fall below the starting balance minus the limit. Trailing: the floor rises with your highest closed balance until it reaches the starting balance, then stays there.

Minimum trading days

The number of separate days on which you must open at least one trade before a phase can pass. There is no maximum and no deadline.

Consistency rule (Instant only)

Your best trading day can’t be more than the stated share of your total profit when you request a payout. Keep trading and the share falls as your other days add up.

Weekend holding

Where weekend holding is not allowed, close all positions before the Friday market close (22:00 server time).

What is never allowed

  • Exploiting price feed errors, delays or other platform faults.
  • Hedging or copying trades across accounts held by you or others.
  • Letting someone else trade your account, or trading for someone else.
  • Any strategy whose only purpose is to pass the evaluation rather than trade.
